Agenda Item: Taking Necessary Actions to Fight Climate Change And Its Global Impacts

One of the OIC’s ministerial conferences is the Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers (ICEM). The conference convenes environment ministers from OIC member states alongside representatives from OIC institutions and international organizations such as ISESCO and SESRIC.  In recent years, ICEM has primarily focused on the preservation of the environment. The committee’s agenda item will focus on climate change, which is one of the world’s most challenging issues.
