Agenda Item: Achieving The OIC Youth Strategy: Empowering The Youth in Every Aspect of Life

ICYSM is one of the ministerial conferences of OIC. The conference convenes youth and sports ministers from OIC member states alongside representatives from related international institutions and organizations such as ICYF and SESRIC. In recent years ICYSM has mainly focused on empowering youth among the OIC Member States in which is total equals to one-fourth of the young population in the world. ICYSM also adopted the OIC Youth Strategy in its 4th session in 2018. The OIC Youth Strategy is a common framework that aims to enable the OIC Member States to work in solidarity in responding to national youth needs.
